Labyrinth descends model

Here is the latest Labyrinth work. Images show a few options of a
labyrinth. Working on finding a model that is still a labyrinth that can
ramp down and descend while being a multiuse area that can be used as
outdoor ampitheater greek theater style. Challenging because labyrinth
path goes back and forth and skips around, not a perfect spiral down. Drawings at 1:100, then Model at 1:100 and finally model at 1:50 that
spirals down 2 m.

some recent work...

I have begun experimenting with how I can show my textures and patterns in
my internal spaces... i am finding it very difficult to draw the
experience that is in my head!

I have put my plans aside for a while and focused on the internal experience.
I am still having terrible difficulties with my internal planning, my
entrances and my void! I have locked in a couple spaces that I am happy
with and working around them at the moment.

Revised drawings: Thursday week 8

Ignore the fact that they are cad drawings... i did draw over the top of
them last week for class. I don't have time to waste going to uni to scan
them plus i have scribbled all over them anyway!

Working on my next revised scheme after the feedback I received from
Richard and the quantity surveyor... will hopefully put it up for comments
later this week.

The Site Model

Hi Everybody,

The model making group has now completed the site model - you can find it
outside the offices on Level 3. The church and surrounding buildings have
not been glued down yet so please handle with care.

A hole has been cut to place models - it measures approximately 176 x
90mm. It starts from the north from the Chapterhouse boundary, up to the
laneway to the east and stops before the eastern steps into the Cathedral.
It will probably be necessary for you to view the model for yourselves
before commencing work on your own model to place within it.

Marc and Ryan did a fantastic job of modelling the Cathedral and the
Chapterhouse, so we will decide at a later stage whether to laser cut
facade details to stick onto the models they have made.

Good work team!
